root beer lovers vs root beer haters is going to be the new hot internet discourse. No more discussing kink at pride, its all about your stance on rootbeer.

food discourse

@imani there was a point in time where i would get taco bell regularly and i’d always get rootbeer.

this is at least better than the corn debacle.

@ItsJenNotGabby @imani I’m hot so if this is the new hot topic I’m against root beer 🙋🏻‍♀️

ps. what is root beer?

@moiety @imani ummmm do you know what sarsaparilla is?

Anyway, it's a soda

@ItsJenNotGabby @imani I’m not familiar with either of those. Their Wikipedia pages don’t make them sound all that appealing tbh 🙈.

I’ll see if they sell it at the store.

@moiety @ItsJenNotGabby @imani it has a very aniseed flavour. if you don't like liquorice, you probably won't like these

@binchicken @ItsJenNotGabby @imani hmm, I don’t mind liquorice from time to time. The Dutch are notorious for eating lots of it.

Not sure about that taste in drink form. But we’ll see!

@imani the new discourse is no rootbeer at pride (I support rootbeer at pride)

Root beer is awesome but finding ANY soda that isn't absolutely demolished with sugar is virtually impossible in the US. Like... I am all for some sugar just not 40 grams of it pleaseeeee

@Alonealastalovedalongthe I mean sure thats a different issue entirely though and not at all root beer's fault.

Definitely, I guess I meant I love root beer and whenever I see a new brand in the store I excitedly check how much sugar it has and then get disappointed.

I did see a root beer kombucha in a store recently though and that looked pretty awesome (and most kombuchas have at least 50% sugar than most sodas do).
