@imani indeed. They go into some of this with the genophage plot line too but basically everything to do with the krogans just upsetting af tbqh
@imani when Niven did it the colonialism angle was more explicit. uplifted species in the uplift trilogy had a generations long period of indenture. I want to say there was a critique in there but it was probably too subtle if so
